    Small Groups

Home - Ministries - Small Groups

Everyone needs a place to build real relationships with people and a growing relationship with God. While weekend services are an important time for the whole church to gather, it can be very difficult to make deep relationships. That’s why we believe it’s so important to gather regularly with a smaller group.

Small groups of people provide an environment where you can be real. In fact, at RVC you’ll find that small groups are the primary place to grow together in your pursuit of full devotion to Christ.

If you are unfamiliar with small groups, you may have some questions like…

    • What is a small group?

It’s 6 to 12 people (occasionally more) who gather regularly for prayer, study and to build relationships with each other. The church can provide material for studies, or groups can choose their own.

    • When do small groups meet?

Small groups generally meet once a week in the evening, however each group establishes times that work for them. We can help you find a group that fits with your schedule.

    • Where do small groups meet?

Small groups are welcome to meet wherever they choose. Many meet in someone’s home. Groups are free to meet in classrooms at the church. Some even plan special events, meals or service opportunities together.

If you have other questions or would like to get connected to a small group, please contact the church office.
