Children's Ministries

“Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” —Deuteronomy 6:7

In Deuteronomy 6:7 it shows that God’s plan for the home is that it is the primary place where kids are to learn about God. That’s why we believe that a child’s faith development should be home-based and church-supported.

We truly believe that no one has more influence on your child than YOU! To support you in that, we hope to provide an environment where your child can learn about God, and provide you with resources to reinforce those truths at home.

How can you help?

• Remember that children’s ministry begins at home. You are the most important person in your child’s world.
• Be an example. Start with the little things. You don’t need to be an expert in any area to have a HUGE impact on your child. And remember, we’re here to partner with you.
• Pray for Children’s Ministries at RVC. Prayer is crucial to a successful partnership. Pray for our teachers and helpers and the many needs that come from helping support the spiritual growth of children.
• Partner with us! There are numerous opportunities to get involved. Contact the church office or your child’s teacher for details on how you can help.
