Awana

Awana Clubs begins it's 7th year, WED., SEP 8th, 2010!!

We are excited for another year to come along side you as parents in raising your children with the Godly values He so desires from each of us!

If your children have never experienced Awana, and this coming year you'd like them to grow spiritually with Jesus as their best friend, we invite you bring them to Awana each Wednesday evening, from 6:25-8:00pm.   We have children from many other churches and some that don't attend church at all.
Awana Clubs is a ministry to support parents in raising your children by memorizing vital Bible verses, to guide them in their daily decisions and choices, to live as Jesus yearns for them to live!

Clubbers love the high energy games each week, learning midweek more of Jesus, and then time to recite the verses they learned at home. They earn badges & jewels and shop our Awana Store 4 times during the year!

We have special theme nights, a missions ministry of praying and financially supporting a new Awana Club in Africa! We correspond with their Awana Leader and learn about them.  They love Jesus, too!

We are so thankful we can have a part in making Jesus known to the children He so loves, thru a solid Bible memory, high energy children's ministry, here at Rock Valley Chapel.   Should you have any questions, please call Pat Scott, 365-6281.

Each AWANA evening is divided into three segments:
    Game Time:                    Awana games get all kids involved
    Small Group Time:        emphasizes memorizing & understanding the Bible
    Large Group Time:        singing, awards, & a practical Bible message
