RVC's Sunday morning service is from 10:30 – 11:45 AM
During the service there is childcare for babies and toddlers. Children age 4 – 1st grade are invited to join their family in the first part of the service, and then to attend our Children’s Church where they will have a chance to hear a Bible story and learn about God with a lesson on their level. RVC is wheelchair accessible.
Dress
Please feel free to come as you are when you join us at RVC. We believe that a person’s choice to be at church is much more important than what that person chooses to wear. You’ll find a few people who are more dressed up, and many people who are dressed casually in jeans or khakis.
Worship
This is the time each week that will provide the opportunity for us to come together, meet God and learn about Him. We do this through a mixture of contemporary and traditional music, media, drama, prayer, scripture and a message from the Bible.
Offering
We do pass offering plates on Sunday mornings, however this is for people who call Rock Valley Chapel their church home and choose to give money back to God as an act of worship. God is the giver of all good gifts to us, and it is right and fitting that we also learn to be good givers back to God as we say “thank you” for His blessings and become involved in helping others know the love of God we are experiencing. If you are visiting, please do not feel obligated to give. We would simply love to have you join us.
Message
Each message is meant for us to better understand the Bible and our relationship to God and others - in a way that is relevant to our everyday life.
Communion
We celebrate Communion together regularly, usually the first Sunday of each month. Communion is not restrictive and anyone who claims to follow the Lord Jesus as Savior is welcome to participate during this time of reflection, prayer and thanksgiving. The bread and juice that is served represent the loving and complete sacrifice Jesus made on the cross in dying for our sins.
